Did you read the post above? The charter flights will be on an A319/320321 depending on the number of seats needed.

And the charter and TATL flights are booked separately so you can do Y for one and C for the other as desired.

I thought your question was about the intra-Europe flights. To be clear, the Intra-Europe flights are on A319/320/321 aircraft. The outbound trans-Atlantic flight is on a LH 747 -- with real first and business class seats. The return trans-Atlantic flight is part of the negotiated trans-Atlantic fare, but the exact flight you take is not being coordinated and is of your own choosing. I do NOT have all the details for that. Please be patient.

When will the details be available regarding the UA event at ORD on the morning of the 3rd?

Similarly, is the UA flight ORD-EWR nearly sorted?

Are the first 300 people who will be allowed to book the charter flights going to be determined by the time of booking or by the time/date of expressing the initial interest to attend in the first 2 threads that are now closed?

For those who were at the Capt D Flanigan dinner last Sat in LAX, is this the flt he was talking about? Will he be the Capt for the ORD-EWR segment?

Sorry if this is going off topic.

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW

I am so in. I will most likely try to start in ORD and do the whole trip! I think it is cool that the big night will be Nov. 5th now as I will be able to celebrate my 36th Birthday in Style with my FT Family and on board an airplane. Now to decide if it is worth a birthday gift to myself to go FC all the way. HMMMM.

Good thing I just sold my house!

Talking WAHOO!!!

First off, CHEERS Y'ALL! Thanks y'all for the hard work already put in! I truly can't wait for this event!!!!!

For those of us starting in the US, will the following post by Oliver on the old thread still apply in terms of price?
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/11894180-post513.html
What about if we join the event at ORD? I definitely want to get the full experience, so should I find my own means of getting to ORD. How early is early on the 3rd or should I consider getting in ORD the night before?

Is there also a chance for members to also partake in FA Training? I would love to do that too!

I've been registered for the event, but still cannot access the site. Is it actually live or do we still wait for the 28th? Posts are very unclear and contradictory.

Okay, I'll fly US domestic with this guy. Does that mean a 763 on this route? When might we know about the UA/ORD events? As a UA PremEx I want to attend and do the ORD-EWR flight.

On this flights the Flight Attendants will actually be there for your safety only. Your servers on board will be your Flyertalk Moderator Crew lead by Purser Randy Petersen on FT1 and tommy777 on FT2. The catering and service on board will be nothing like you have ever experienced on an aircraft before. That is a promise.
Great job, guys! I would pass on attending my own funeral to be a part of this!

A suggestion: If possible it would be nice to have the mod servers switch to the other aircraft at some point to allow for as many FT:s as possible to enjoy being served by as many mods as possible.

Frequent Flyer miles/points: You will get 15.000 status points/eqms and redeemable miles from LH or CO as a fixed amount for the charter experience. We are working to get this from BD, AC, SK and UA as well. There will be no class of service bonus or more points for business. The big difference will be service. Total flying time is around 6 hours, 3 flights, catering will be served on all. And boy, if you are up front, what a day it will be ;-)\
That will make C class quite a lot less attractive. Then again the price difference is small enough.

The miles count as HON miles on LH, don't they?

Are there any special rates for the ORD-EWR flight? Or are they going to me included in the revised TATL fares giving us an option to start in ORD?
