It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future.

WOW, I don't know what to say. I don't think anyone could have really guessed the extent that the members of FlyerTalk love a challenge – in this case, a challenge to enjoy two free Prem+ tickets on Open Skies airlines between New York and Amsterdam.

Just looking at the shear number of entires could give you a dizzy experience. I'm very happy to name our winner of these tickets ... in fact, I'm going to name TWO winners. That's right, TWO. If you'll recall, mikeef was so gracious to return two tickets to our members when other commitments came his way. We all thank him kindly for that kind of generosity to think of our other members. As for the other pair of tickets, well jackplum had a family emergency at the final moment of his winning tickets and graciously also returned his tickets to his fellow members to enjoy. I'd like to commend both members for their support of FlyerTalk in the past and for their support of our members right now. Very classy in today's world to see two members return the prizes for others to enjoy.

AND, who are these two lucky winners, each winning a pair of these tickets?

I introduce you to ANGLO LARGE CLAWED OTTER and CLINCHER. I don't know either member but have heard references to both of them from other members and the comments were nothing but praise.

So, CONGRATS to both of you, you each have won a pair of Prem+ tickets on Open Skies, our 10th Anniversary of FlyerTalk airline partner. So, off you go to Amsterdam. We'd all love to read a Trip Report of you have time and may your travels be nothing but first class.

Clincher's winning post:

Anglo Large Clawed Otter's winning post:

FLASH ALERT:
Because of the absolute odds against JayhawkCO posting right behind each of these two random winners, I have decided to personally pay for two tickets for him as well. So can you imagine Amsterdam after three consecutive FlyerTalkers visit that city in the next month?
LAST CHANCE: Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Fly Free To Amsterdam?

Cheers,
Randy

NOTE: Because of the vast numbers of entries, it was decided to use a randomizer application to help determine these two winners. We used a public application, random.org, entering a request to generate 2 random integers with each integer having a value between 2 (the starting post after my announcement of the run-off for the tickets) and 67,009 (the total number of posts through 12:00 p.m. House of Miles time today). We used the integer provided from random.org as a post count number. Here is that return:

I think ALCO is already packed and heading for the airport.

Congratulations to ALCO and Clincher and may they and their guest have a great trip to AMS.

WOW, you are correct, how close is that.

Here's what I will do personally. You grab another person and contact us, I am going to personally pay for you and a guest to fly in Prem+ on OpenSkies to Amsterdam before December 15 just as the other winners are doing. I am astounded at how you could be a double second place and there is nothing I like better than to see all our members happy

DEAL? Contact me as soon as you can and we'll get you taken care of - just one caveat, you must write a Trip Report on FlyerTalk about your trip.

So, congrats to you as well.

Randy

Note: Because these will be paid tickets, you will be eligible for British Airways miles. But you probably already figured that out by the time you got to this note!
