Gang,
I have had to deal with "disgruntled Santas" over the past several years. Nothing new there. I personally do not believe it is appropriate to have those conversations in this thread.
I have dealt with issues on an individual basis. Will every person be happy? No. That is an impossible standard. Heck, even Santa has yet to get a gift from an assigned Santa the past two years. I have stepped in for over a dozen extra santas myself and other members of this community have done the same. Always done behind the scenes.
I do apologize for anyone who is disappointed in any way.

Now just you wait a minute here, Sharon.
NEWSFLASH: Me loves me my fruitcake. And any fruitcake scorned by any FTers graciously will be accepted in Sacramento. Since I was a kid, I had put an end to many tales that fruitcakes get re-gifted. <kevinsac stomps foot and smirks> That rumor stops with me.
Now, back to regular posting......happy posting!

Feeling the FT Christmas Love
My Bellingham SantaGram arrived by post this cold Alaska day. Wow...inside the parcel were three lovely wrapped presents and a handsome card. Bellingham Santa was even kind enough to remember my boys: there was something in the box for them, too! The presents are under the tree; and the card is on the mantel.
Tried to wait...but my curiosity got the better of me and I felt like I needed a little Christmas, right this very minute. Thank you to my three SS's!
SS from Chicago - Can't wait to pop the CD's onto my MP3 player and hit the gym! Latin and Jazz...two of my favorites! The amenity kit will come in handy tomorrow when I get on a plane again!
SS from Atlanta - Was wonderful to receive a beautiful box with a keychain and very special candle. Looking forward to filling up my jet tub, lighting the candle and de-stressing!
SS from California - It's as if you've known me for years! Beautifully wrapped gifts hand-made from Brazil! The jewel tree is going on my desk at work to remind me to take a break each day and appreciate all that is special. The handmade schoolhouse is going in my loft and the CD is going right onto my MP3 player!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I sent out both of my assignments today. Small box, but VERY heavy. I hope they will enjoy them.
To Santa FlyGirl555 : I finished all the chocolat today. They are so good. I will use the binoculars tomorrow when I go up to my parent's house in Chappaqua, NY. It's so cool that I could take digital photos with the binoculars.
To Chicago Santa : Thank you for the USB port, towel, and the bottle opener. Now I could work on my computer, open a bottle of beer and clean up with the new towel if I spill the beer.
Cheers

Reason: additional info.
I don't know how you could have picked such perfect gifts. First, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jones because they don't use High Fructose Corn Syrup. Second, how did you know I'm a jew?? Third, I think you overspent and you really shouldn't have!!!

Dear Santa AMRivlin,
Thank you for the wonderful gifts! I'm so sad that I missed you when you came to deliver them! I was going to resist opening them but I only made it a day before the temptation got to me. I'm looking forward to using them all.
Thanks for your thoughtfulness.

I have received 2 as well, and let me say I was pleasantly surprised.
Santa's deliveries:
Pillars of the Earth and graphic companion:
Thanks so much, these will be a great read, never heard of it either, but looks outstanding.
2 Vietnam tour books:
Great, thanks so much, they will help out a lot on my trip in 09 for sure
I can't believe my nutty secretary didn't ask you to wait 5 minutes when she knew I was on my way back to the office! I'm so sorry I didn't get to meet you, but I love the gifts!
Had a package waiting for me when I got home this afternoon. Thanks to my SS for the great Pilates kit and UA drink chits. The vintage ones are way cool!! Now I need to get off my keister and make use of the pilates set.
My SS sent me an unexpected part II to also get me started on yoga. I need to watch the DVD for this one - no idea how to use the belt and boxes without guidance. Looking forward to learning - Thanks!!
I've received two packages in the last week or so. One was a box that looked like it was direct shipped, so I had no clue what it was (I was expecting something about the same size, thought it was that) and it was a set of personalized wine coasters. I'm fairly certain it was somebody here, so thanks, they will certainly be put to very good use.
The other package has a return address of Santa Claus, the North Pole, that's under the tree. It probably won't make it till Christmas.
I was in Brazil this past week and when I got home last night there was a note from my neighbour saying he has a package that arrived for me. Well, now he is travelling and I leave again tomorrow. So I am guessing that it is my secret santa gift but I haven't been able to open it. It looks like I may open it in the new year.
So, to my secret santa..... I have not forgotten to say thank you! I just haven't been able to open the gift yet to learn who you are (or at least where you are from).
