I don't recognize the return address so I'm guessing this is from my Secret Santa...and I'm afraid to rip open the brown paper wrapping lest I spoil the...oh, hell. Hang on a moment.

:: sounds of ripping paper ::

So awesome!! It's a box of yarn, some stitch markers and two sets of very cool knitting needles! Yay!

Plus the box has some cute puppy and kitty stickers on it and I almost decided to not peek inside...but couldn't help myself.

Thank you, Santa!

To my I THINK NZ based Secret Santa...
OH MY - you are now forcing me to reassess my garden after sending me that lovely lovely book. Such gorgeous pictures, and ideas and Oh MY!
For those that are interested its entitled "Artful Gardens" (or something like that...its at home and I'm at Uni) and is a huge coffee table book filled with the most wonderful garden ideas and big glossy drool worthy pictures. I'm very much loooking forward to curling up on my garden bench and cherry picking which bits I could potentially intergrate! Its the type of book I paw lovingly at in the bookstore but put back reluctantly due to not being able to justify it.
THANK YOU!.

While back visiting in Florida I received three separate packages from my two different secret santas. Both of which happened to be from California. The first package had air socks that became very useful during my flight back to home. The Conrad Hong Kong under construction bear was a great and useful addition as well. The theme from my SS was sleep and that I did.

My second package included a wonderful treat from Amazon. Now I have a picture frame for all of my digital pictures. What is even better is it now doubles as my alarm clock.

In another package I received the mother load of travel related gifts, including BA First PJS. (Wonderful!) I also got a wonderful travel carrying case for all my special documents including my passport and work permit which successfully made it back home. On top of all this I received a Star Alliance overnight kit, and a booty full of travel goodies including a china airlines travel tag (which is now on my luggage) and one of those cool keychains from austrian airlines that is fashioned to look like the chord they use to disengage the wheel so the tug can push it out. (that's my new keychain!)

Upon my return to my home I found that there were two postcards waiting for me. Apparently Santa was checking on me to make sure I made it back home and that I was good while gone. I assure you Santa I have been good!

Thanks Santa!

Just so you know, all these gifts came from one Santa assigned to you.... so, you have another gift you should get at some time.

Super FT Santa knows all.....

Just received an email that said UPS mis-routed one of my packages that contains presents for my recipients. It should arrive here on Monday, whch means I'll ship it on Tuesday, rather than over the weekend.

Received a few gifts from one of my secret santa's today and there great....a cooking thermometer, and a set of one handed salt and peper grinders which work great. Too bad it's so cold out or I'd be using them with my grill tonight.

Came home after a work trip to find 2 boxes from Molton Brown, sent by a mysteriously named "FT SS Team". Needless to say, I will be using the mens traveler kit starting next week.. no more of this Renaissance bath soap for me! Thanks to the team of Santa(s)!

Santa's package has arrived, from the Lone Star State and delivered to the Gold Rush State. From the Space City to the home of the world's largest (believe it or not) Dixieland Jazz Jubilee. From the home of Howard Hughes and Barbara Jordan, to the [current, part-time] home of Ahh-nold and original home of Shakey's Pizza and Tower Records. From the home of the Rockets to the home of the Kings.

Many thanks, Santa. But my appreciation won't be complete until the holidays, since I am trying very, very intently not to open the package until Christmas.

But in advance, many thanks for participating the the FT Secret Santa fun!

More to be posted later, when the package is opened.

Happy holidays to all of you!

I opened my door to feed the neighborhood cat and discovered a big box from UPS on my doorstep. I'd like to pretend I was going to wait until the actual holiday to open the box, but it was really only about 30 seconds.

I am stunned & speechless by my Secret Santa's generosity & hitting the nail on the head with all my likes. S/he must have had a list & checked it twice to see if I was naughty or nice, and I think I came up in the nice column, because I definitely came up in the showered with gifts column!

Barnes & Noble gift card, Blockbuster Video gift card, a bottle of champagne, a bottle of wine, Earl Gray tea with a decorated mug & wrapped in a filligree basket, Zen tea with a decorated mug & wrapped in a filligree basket, a CD of movie music in a cannister that looked like motion picture film, bubble bath candy canes, and a wine stopper. And everything wrapped in beautiful wrapping or gorgeous Xmas stockings and holiday bags.

THANKS SECRET SANTA!!! And my SS is that since the return address said Santa, North Pole.

Cheers.

A large box covered in postage stamps arrived at our house yesterday. Sean has thoughtfully hidden the customs declaration, so I have no idea what it is.. and will wait until Dec 25th to find out ! Thanks !
