Today, two more boxes arrived from amazon. I signed up for two secret santas, so I am guessing these two boxes are from the second santa? Then again, I don't know. I'll just let myself be confused for the next two weeks. Thanks secret santa!

My Santa Elf has sent his 3rd package from House of Miles. This one is a notebook from aLoft. Hmmm, I wonder who

- went to the sale at the Princeville in Hawaii
- posted the first ever report on the Joule Hotel in the Starwood forum
- went to the aLoft launch party

This is a lot of fun!

We're just home from a trip, and found a box mailed from Fort Lauderdale. My goodness, Santa was generous! and tricky. My gifts all came in boxes meant to conceal. In a box that purportedly held a vegetable steamer was a box of chocolate key lime coolers. That's really coincidental, given that I was in Key West last week and didn't get my fill of key lime pie. I also had boxes for computer/wireless gear. The contents were anything but. I got a gorgeous set of pillow covers, I suspect from Thailand. They are exquisite, and will look beautiful in my home. I also got a Starwood shirt! There, I said it - and I suspect half of you are now jealous.

Thank goodness, I carefully cleaned out every box, as there were two certs. One is a discount on CO, and the other is a coupon for complimentary internet at a Wayport location. I hate paying for internet, so I think that coupon is seriously cool.

My Santa revealed herself to me. It's the first year for both of us to participate. Should she chose to do so again, anyone will be very very lucky to get this Santa.

You're being far better than I am. I hate waiting until Christmas to open presents.

I received my package Saturday. Delicious coffee & tea from Viet Nam. Santa had just returned from a trip to Viet Nam & brought goodies home with him. Too bad the USPS wouldn't let him mail the wine. Next time, Santa, use UPS and don't tell them what's in it. Both the tea & coffee are delicious.

Thumbs up Great Minds Think Alike!

Two packages from Amazon arrived today. No way I could wait till Christmas

In one, two books; in the other, three. ALL five are about Antarctica! Brilliant!

Santa Seattle and Santa Maryland must have done their research by reading up on my old posts

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I received an amazing gift from Santa #3. My husband came struggling into the house with a massive box. He placed it at my feet, saying "Someone must love you very much. They spent $30 on postage." I didn't count the stamps, but there were rows and rows of them - 5 different holiday themes, along with some other varieties. There were Christmas stickers and Christmas tape. It was a very festive shipping box.

I opened it, and found a mini-tower of gifts in Saks Fifth Avenue boxes, tied with red ribbon and a beautiful silver star ornament. Oh, my! Inside the top box was a lovely tin of Yoko Moku Christmas cookies. It's exquisitely packaged, and I am confident holds delicious contents. But wait, there's more!

Inside the lower box was a box labeled Dolce Vita ensemble, "a festive collection of dessert teas and accoutrements". My Santa is all knowing. I didn't put on my lists of likes my passion for tea. It's impossible to buy for me because I am very persnickety about the quality of the tea, and the process by which it is made. Further, I love all the beautiful cups and tea pots you can buy in places like Mariage Frere in Paris or shops in Japan.

Well! This is an exquisite set of cups with covers (much more elegant than that sounds; I'm not quite sure how to describe it) along with little dishes and serving trays besides the various tea varieties. Wow! Simply wow. It's the kind of extravagance I'd never think to buy for myself - but oh, what a gift. Thank you!

That, to me, is the fun of buying gifts. Finding something which you think the person will enjoy, but would never buy for himself!

Thank you to Santa #2!

The woman at the post office had a bit of a struggle and was out of breath after bringing the package to the counter. It was chock full of goodies like fiddle faddle, coffee flavour powders, sweets and mixes. And everything was packed in very interesting containers! Thank you!

A warm mahalo!

Just arrived home to find a package from my Secret Santa! Someone knows me too well . . . a package of goodies, Chocolate goodies from Big Island Candies in Hilo, Hawaii. (My favorite Vacation State)

Three gold boxes were perfectly in tact. The first box, Dark Chocolate covered brownies with hawaiian Macadamia Nuts, yummy. Digging further revealed Chocolate Covered Shortbread Cookies and if that were not enough a box of Olive Oil Cookies with a twist of Hawaiian Ginger. I'm putting all three under the tree, hopefully I can wait!

I Love Hawaii! I Love chocolate! (especially DARK CHOCOLATE) and I Love my Secret Santa.

Mahalo
