I think I may be interested in this - I'll have to check my schedule, but put me as a maybe for now.

I am also thinking to take the car from SZG to NUE. This means, I can pick up people at MUC.

I'm also confirmed!

Booked 3 nights at the DO hotel (aka the Hilton) for €49 per night as well. Please move me to the definite list!

I'm arriving in NUE on 11th at 2100 via DUS and thinking of staying somewhere close to the train station on Thursday night as it would be more convenient for a day trip to Bamberg on Friday.

LH cancelled the BRU-NUE flight on Friday evening and booked us on a BRU-NUE on Thursday morning - what are they thinking? The return on Sunday still seems to be operating.

What a pain! I hope you get transferred to something more reasonable.

It looks like my flights to NUE on Thursday have also been cancelled but the new itinerary I've received doesn't make sense.

Quote:
Flight LH 4885 operated by: EUROWINGS
Date 11. June from MANCHESTER GB MANCHESTER INTL TERMINAL 1 to
DUESSELDORF DE INTERNATIONAL A
Departure 15:30 h Arrival 17:55 h
Reservation Economy Class (E)

Flight LH 4865 operated by: LUFTHANSA
Date 11. June from MANCHESTER GB MANCHESTER INTL TERMINAL 1 to
MUNICH DE MUNICH INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL 2
Departure 17:15 h Arrival 20:15 h
Reservation Economy Class (E)

Flight LH 884 operated by: LUFTHANSA
Date 11. June from DUESSELDORF DE INTERNATIONAL A to
NUREMBERG DE
Departure 20:00 h Arrival 21:00 h
Reservation Economy Class (E)

Flight LH 946 operated by: LUFTHANSA CITYLINE
Date 11. June from MUNICH DE MUNICH INTERNATIONA TERMINAL 2 to
NUREMBERG DE
Departure 21:05 h Arrival 21:40 h
Reservation Economy Class (E)
Instead of flights #1 and #3 I guess I'll be flying on #2 and #4, leaving MAN 1 hr 45 min later and arriving NUE 40 min later. CMT is a little more helpful. Flights 1 & 3 are marked "unable, does not operate" and flights 2 & 4 "confirmed, timechange"! As far as I can see the route has changed as well!

I wonder why so many flights to NUE are being cancelled.

Hotel booked, flights not. Looking for something reasonable. WBT. (That's my FT contribution to the language. WBT - Will Be There.

Also open to suggestions for before/after Franconian towns to visit by train on way to/from probably FRA.

Have to leave now to kill the old man sitting next to me on the AA lounge computer who's loudly celling his TA and/or broker about something in April FGS. (that stands for what you think it does - fer god's sake.)

Have decided to use a large heavy glass of ice as the weapon...

restlessinRNO, very likely, I can give you a ride on the 12th in the morning, I'll be sailing down from LCY/LHR to FRA on the 11th, too but this is still pending.

It may not be en route to/from FRA but I'm planning a day trip to Bamberg by train on Friday. I arrive late on Thursday evening and will stay near the train station. It would be great to have company if you are interested.

Hope you managed to dispose of the murder weapon promptly...

I've talked to a couple of FTers who are in on this DO, and I'd like
to express interest.
