Talking My Secret Santa's did an Excellent Job

I just got home and my mom expressed mailed me my secret Santa gifts.

For those not in the know, I was out of the country from Dec. 19th and I had all my secret Santa stuff mailed to my mom in RI.

Now I just want to say that this is the best sets of presents I have ever gotten so far, well that landmark gift card last year was so awesome.

So this is what I received from my secret Santas:
1. First Secret Santa sent something to me from ICN and well the package was too heavy for my mom to mail, so I'll collect it in March when I am at PVD.
2. Second Secret Santa sent me 3 months of gifts from Restaurant.com, I don't know really how to do it but I'll learn how to use it. Also I got a restaurant guide book 'A Hungry City Guide/ Hungry San Francisco. The lowdown on where the real people eat.' Which I'll read for sure during my Crazy MR.
3. Third Secret Santa sent me a $50 GC to I tunes. Can I just say how many albums I was/am looking to buy but I was in Africa and couldn't seem to get to the American I-tunes store... Now I'll have some listening music for my trip.

Now I did get some cards with the stuff too, but as my mother remailed the items I don't know who sent me the Christmas Road Rage card. The card issssssssssssssss so awesome and I love how it fit with the whole FT experience. Could the Secret Santa please tell me where you found it.

Thank you again you wonderful Secret Santas! I can't wait until Nov. to do this all over again.

With much love and joy,

Folks, we're down to just an occasional post in this thread so we're going to "de-sticky" it and let it float to its final resting place. But feel free to post at any time to this thread as it will remain open and active.

And I know that I speak for all of you in thanking FT's very own Santa Claus, wharvey, for his work in coordinating this annual event.

I want to personally thank the CommunityBuzz moderators for allowing this thread to again be a "Sticky".

They have done their part to help us advertise this event to the greater community.

Thanks again!

Christmas in February is OK with me! =^..^=

As Santa wharvey mentioned... some FT-ers did not receive gifts and one had the gift stolen.

I was the giftee whose items came but were taken from my apartment building. It's happened before but this is the only I can have items mailed since my "Cat's MEOW Services" does not have a physical office (and Eddie is the only one home and he likes to "taste" the FedEx/UPS/Postal Service people.

But today after a rerouting I finally got my gifts and wanted to thank my Secret Santa for the SPG cert, United ticket envelopes, the new toys for Eddie (who is enjoying them now) and the books. I was hoping someone would get me those books: "Cats Antics and Attitudes" and Revilo's "Talk to the Tail."

They both have a lot of good Cat humor in them and I could always use a laugh.

Thanks again my Secret Santa and Our Santa Wharvey! I don't celebrate Valentine's Day so this is purrfect.

Well, with Catman getting his "replacement" gift from his generous Secret Santa, I have done as much as I can possibly do.

I have five people who have not received their gifts... and for that I sincerely apologize. These five gifts are all due to two flyertalk members:

Devis and Tfmpa.

One of those members asked for two assignments and the other three assignments. Neither member was a "new" member and had a pretty good posting history on FT.

Neither member has chosen to respond to PMs (neither has logged onto FT since late December/early January) and has not answered email messages.

If anyone knows either of these members and knows of any other way to contact them, please private message me.

Again, I hope this was a good experience for most of you. Fortunately, the five people above who did not receive a gift from these particular people were assigned other members who did follow through.

Thanks again for all you did.

William

Well, let's hope those FTers are OK and just left our community in a less-than-polite manner...and that nothing more serious happened to them
It's always a cause of some consternation when a member of an online community leaves with no notice. Hope they check back in at some point.

Thanks again William for all your hard work (and the answer to your email question which I just saw is "no, but that's not important)

Big thumbs up to Nancy for putting this all together, she made it so easy for us all to share our appreciation with William.

I just read this for the first time and it made me smile. We just missed one another at the airport when you were up visiting us here in The Great Land; and I hope my playing your Secret Santa last year encouraged you to come on up!
