2008 Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Balloon Blowup
Edited October ... 2008
Post here if you're going to attend the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Post here if you're going to watch them blow up the balloons the night before.
I've attended many balloon blowups. Lots of fun. Starts around 7:00pm on the upper westside. Continues through the night. We're meeting at Starbucks Columbus Ave and West 81 Street.
Time 7:00pm
November 27 << Wednesday night
We pushback on time.
So far:

The 2008 update starts on page 4, milepost 71.

It's never to early to plan an event.

Dan, I will probably be travelling somewhere overseas during Thanksgiving week.
But if, for some reason, that doesn't look like it's going to happen, I would certainly consider coming to NYC one more time this year for the fun and festivities!

Youre here so frequently, Bloomberg should start charging you NYC income taxes.
Im a possibility for the pre-parade festivities. Ive never done that before.

There is a very good possibility I will be in NYC for T'Day this year. It is a little too early to know whether we would be there Wednesday evening or would be arriving early Thursday AM.

Count Jerrie and I in for the FSF and the balloon thingy too.
My sister plus two of her grown daughters who are traveling with her would also like to join in.
Is this going to be a bus event?

Maybe you can enter a float
I've wanted to do this for years, but I have Thurs-Fri-Sat off this year, and there's no way in the world the city will let me have Wednesday night off to fly back.

At the request of idsant , I'm bumping this to remind everyone that fall is in the air.
The parade is just 11+ weeks away.
Autumn in NY. It can be 25 or 70F. Come join us.

Do you throw in another tour with this event?
