This is post #1,000 for me. I had no idea when I joined that I had this much to offer/say/ask--and how addictive this board is. Not only have I felt at home with others who are also passionate about travel, but I've reaped the benefits of the info posted here. Plus I've finally found a use for travel coupons and certs I used to discard: give them away on CC.

Wow, this is it. My 1000th post. I can't believe it.

I joined a long time ago, participated for some time, then took a little hiatus. Back againanks to all now.

Thanks to everyone who participates and shares his/her knowledge. I've benefitted more than I was alble to help. I also appreciate the community which meets at DOs, participates in Secret Santa, and donates freebies.

Hugs to everyone.

I finally arrived into the 4 digit category and saved my 1000th post for this special thread.

In my first year here, following the advice of many I was able to make 1k, after having spent over 10 years at the 1P level. I am now closing in on my MM status much more quickly thanks to FT.

When I first joined the school of FT, I followed the posts of many of the Evangelists (some might consider it stalking ). Initially I may have even developed a crush on a few of them, as in I hoped to cross paths in some airport or perhaps be seated next to one on a long flight so I could discuss all things flyertalk. As a "young grasshopper" I could see clearly that they had so much information they were willing to share. I have learned a great deal in these two years and hope to continue to learn from the masters and contribute to others along the way.

My 1,000th post.

Is this where I get the 1K status I keep reading about here on FT?

With four digits securely in hand now, I feel a bit like a cartoon character.

But even with 1,000 posts, I'm afraid I'm still a few boards shy of a fence.
