It only took me 17 days to go from 4,000 - 5,000. Is that a new record? Considering the couple weeks of server slowdown we had

And this time I did participate in Canarsie's Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post? An OMNI Game

Actually, I have 774 posts in that thread alone
FWIW I went from #1000 to #2000 in about just under 13 days. I made my 1000th post on 6-18-04 at 9:51 AM. This is my 2000th post.

5,000 posts on the 4th of July

Hitting the magic 5,000 goal post on the 4th of July Only took 4 years to get here, and most of my posts were on travel related forums.

Well, it is the 4th of July here in New Zealand (not quite yet in the USA as I post).

Congrats to the new clubmembers, I will make it later this year.

Jumping into this a little late as I didn't know the thread existed...
I understand the dues for this club are $100/year and you have to make the check payable to jfe.
Can anybody confirm this?

Cholula I think you are confusing the 5000 pesos club (aka Jfe Juarez Bridge Toll Fund)

You were better off with the $100 check, as $5,000 pesos is close to $450

I will take either one, but paypal it instead
