Hi, I'm FlightCancelled. Fairly new to the world of collecting points, but I feel that I'm already getting experienced. It's only one year since I realized that "hey, I can earn points"! A couple of months later I was going on daytrips all around Europe. I went to Washington D.C. (from Bergen in Norway) on a weekend trip in April and went three times to Athens (from Oslo in Norway) in one week. Point challenges and 3x points-routes are scary stuff. Of course I also travel for leisure every now and then, where it's either football trips (soccer for you americans) or the countries around the Mediterranean Sea that are the most popular.
Now I am moving to Grand Forks, North Dakota to start my education as an Air Traffic Controller for the Norwegian company Avinor (Avinor AS is a state-owned limited company that operates most of the civil airports in Norway. The Norwegian state, via the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications, controls 100 percent of the share capital. Source: Wikipedia). Really happy to be one out of the 25 who got in, of around 700 applicants.

Hello,
I'm Eric and I'm 15 with a passion for collecting points of various types. My first FF program was Continental OnePass when I was 2. I travel on a regular basis and can normally make premier silver (United) in a good year. It's hard to convince my mom to extend her trip by a few hours to fly in business/first class Mileage runs have always been part of the tradition between my father and me.
I can't wait until I can get CCs and start churning!

Just new to posting
Hi All,
I have been reading flyertalk for news on AA for some time, and just spotted this page.
Name: Michelle
Occupation: ARS Specialist
I'm a audience response specialist and currently reside in Las Vegas. I grew up in a Naval family and one could say that I was born to travel. I am very fortunate that I get to travel domestically and internationally through out the year. My boyfriend when asked where i am always looks up and points to the sky and says "her bum is flying over some city"! Glad that I found FT, what a great place to get the latest on what the airlines are up to.

I'm Joe, I'm an air traffic controller for the FAA Northern California. Just started getting into points/miles, and looking forward to many years of luxury travel using them.

What do you need help with? If you include some general information on what you are interested in finding out about, the mods will be able to move your post to the best possible area of FT

Welcome to the group! Space is sure starting to be a popular destination for travelers the world over. Are you earning FFMs for your trips? If so, how many miles for an award ticket in Capsule Class?

Hey all,
LONNNNGGGGGG time lurker, finally introducing myself as suggested by the Secret Santa thread I just joined. I've mostly just been on here to read the amusing threads that come in the TalkMail to remind myself that my travel could always be more interesting and because they make interesting dinner conversation. Maybe Secret Santa will be my incentive to be more involved on the threads.
Anyways, I'm a 25 year old guy who is back in college after some time off. I'm working towards my PR/Marketing degree, and will be graduating in May, 2015! I'm currently interning at Disney World with the Disney Vacation Club, on their tour operations team. I've previously worked at a large tech retailer (both in sales and tech support) and also spent three years as a paramedic.
When I'm not catching up on sleep, you'll typically find me out and about with my camera (leventhal.shownd.com), watching a sporting event (hockey is my main passion but I also follow baseball and (American) football), or at a concert. I'm a huge country music fan but will listen to almost anything besides rap or classical. I also love going out and exploring...anything within a one-day trip is fair game for me for a spur-of-the-moment adventure. And going to the local theme parks never gets old for me.
Travel wise, not a whole lot for me recently besides yearly trips to Israel and a bunch of domestics MCO -> CLE (home). I've been doing a fair amount of cruises though, taking advantage of FL resident discounts while I still can.
Thanks for welcoming a long time lurker into someone who hopes to be a more frequent participant!
