ldsant has joined our other dearly departed friends

I just read on Facebook (posted by a Flyertalker) that ldsant passed away last Saturday.

Liz (I called her Anty) and I became friends when Flyertalk had an active Chat room 10+ years ago. We broke bread multiple times. She was always fun, if not a little strange (not in a bad way). She'll be missed.

Dan

I was the one who initially reported it.

I received a message from her niece that she had passed away last Saturday. It appears that she was in ICU in Seattle for a week before she passed.

She was cremated and there will be a private service for her near her parents' home in Florida.

That's the extent of what I know.

Liz was a unique person to say the least. Quirky and odd (in a good way) and I shared many trips and experiences with her in Chicago, Paris, Las Vegas, New York and at several Mod Do's in the past decade. It took a special effort to be friends with her, but it was certainly worth it. She was a very caring individual who adored her niece and nephew - the loves of her life.

She will certainly be missed.

Sad news but we're richer for having had her chose to spend her time on FT. RIP Liz.

Most certainly a fun person to be around and I'm going to miss her. She had a unique sense of humor that sort of grew on you over time.

I think the first time we spent some time together was when she saw I was in Amsterdam for a few days and she came up by train from Paris to join me, a good dozen or more years ago, and we've caught up a bunch of times since as her work locations moved all around the country. I know she loved Seattle and would have permanently stayed there if she could, but she had to move about for work. As sad as it is, I'm happy that she did make it back there one last time.

Rest in peace, Liz.

So sorry to hear this. ldsant was once a moderator in the Starwood forum and we had lunch and visited the Museum of Flight when I visited Seattle once.

Rest in peace.

How awful. I enjoyed reading Liz's contributions over the years. She'll be missed greatly.

I went to shul tonight to say kadish for Liz, a prayer for the dead. It was the least I could do. She always called me Deli Dan.

May her memory be for a blessing.

Very sad. FT is poorer for her passing.
