We're a party of 8. If we can get 10, I can make a reservation.
How will you know who we are? Just hang at the host desk and wait for the party of 8 to be seated. Other clues as to our identity... talk of miles and points.
Whoever gets there first, please tell them we need a table for 8. I arrive MDW at 11:30, and expect to make it on time.

Not that I want to cause trouble in the great pizza debate, but here goes.
My friend took a powder on me for lunch the next day. I used this as an excuse to go to Lou Malnati's. This was 'deep dish' vs the Giordanos 'layered' pizza.
I perfectly enjoyed the Giordano's pizza. It was a nice change of pace from New York pizza. No harm no foul. Then I had Lou Malnati's. BIG difference. This one is more traditional deep dish, and what I expected in Chicago.
Truth be told, I enjoyed Pizzeria Uno more than the others (on East Ohio Street) the last time I was in town. I went there with my son and Sweet Willie. That must have been 10 years ago.
Thought you'd like to know.
It was nice meeting legalalien and plainsman, and always a pleasure hanging out with my longtime Chicago friends.
Someone told me about Johnny's pizza. Maybe another time.

Happy that you understand and have experienced the difference.
