My Alaska Airline Companion fare code came in last night and I was finally able to change my RV reservation so here's to crashing the DO with some last minute reservations!
My wife and I are flying in on AK 50 on Tuesday, landing in Barrow at 6:12pm.
We are spending 2 nights at the Airport Inn
We fly out of Barrow on Thursday June 22nd at 11:50am, landing in ANC at 5:05pm on AK 2808.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and celebrating Summer Solstice!

Haven't heard back from the airport about this yet.
You won’t be able to take any pictures in the facility, and you’ll be asked to either leave your phones outside the operational areas or to turn them off.

No joking people...after a close black bear sighting on our hike at Crow Creek in Girdwood today and being stuck at the trailhead where a sixteen year old kid died today from a bear mauling, make sure someone has bear spray if you plan a hike up Flattop with Jackal. We do live in the wilderness with just a little bit of civilization stuck in it.
My aunt just got out of the hospital Thursday after being in there for nearly a month after being attacked by a moose right nearby.
There are polar bears in BRW... Remember to Be Alert for Polar Bears.

A few more updates
We are meeting at 9:45 AM at the North Terminal (Used for International Arrivals, Global Entry/ Pre Check interviews, and other offices)
We will be leaving vehicles here all day.
Please feel free to park in the North Terminal parking lot for the duration of your visit to all. Keep your parking ticket with you and have it validated just prior to your airport tour. The badge office closes at 1600, so if you miss them you will have to come to the staff offices on the 3rd or 4th floor in the South Terminal(also on the map).
Please meet outside the North Terminal. You should see a small group of us.
We'll then walk over to the tower (about 5 minutes) Can't miss it
