Excited to participate again this year - thanks, as always, to wharvey for organizing. Hope you're enjoying your honeymoon!

In addition to echoing what others have recommended about being detailed in your self-description and posting in the thread once you receive a package, I'd add this - The gifts I've enjoyed receiving most are the ones with some sort of personal touch. It can be hard to shop for a stranger and not everything you send (or receive) will be perfect, but including a note, for instance, explaining why you picked something out is a really thoughtful touch. It always makes me smile and feel appreciated, regardless of what's inside the box.

Welcome, and have fun with it!

I think I read wharvey is on his honeymoon until the end of the month and don't expect any updates before then. so along with checking the list, be patient I guess.

Excited and looking forward for my second year.

For us this has become a whole family thing. My teenager actually enjoys helping me select and send the gifts, and when mine arrive he opens the boxes for me and has gift wrapped the ones that arrived unwrapped. [he lives in hope someone will slip in something for him ]

The family members with fur look forward to the spin-off of Secret Santa, Santa Paws, over in the Travel with Pets forum. Kipper has run that past years.

Will get my email to Wharvey sent this weekend. I think this is year 4 for me.

Was just talking about it last week with somebody. Last year was my first try and absolute loved the idea, so I'll be singing on for another year!

Thanks Wharvey for organising it again!
Will send my info asap.

Looking forward to this year as well. Its been awhile..I could be wrong about this but a couple of years ago when you signed up to SS, you always received a Santa icon under your name. Could I be wrong ? Am I drinking to much glögg (spice wine) ? Its a swedish thing..

It probably just hasn't been added yet. Give it until after Halloween.

When U receive the DM from Santa 🎅 , depending on where the gift is being sent , I would send it as soon as possible. Of course U want to sent it before Christmas 🎄
