I had a late start today... well you can imagine why
Was another epic evening
I did make it to the Arctic Thunder in time to see the Blue Angels and found some discounted edible merchandise heading out after it was over ^
Anyone know what this is?

"Bone"
too bad I can't see the tail number ... I worked production avionics checkout and flight test at Palmdale on the first dozen or so, and was part of the Boeing delivery team for #2 and #3 (#1 stayed at Edwards AFB as a flight test bird)

So, weird flight home (well the FAI-SEA leg) - pilot comes on to tells us our route has been diverted and we'll be flying at a reduced altitude because there are "bombing exercises/practice" occurring and fighter jets are occupying the air space in which we were meant to fly?! On the plus side got some cool dusk views of big mountains super close. (Pilot was no help in identifying them because, as he said, he'd never flown that route before!)

Wow, that was FUN! I really enjoyed my first "DO", and want to send thanks BOB W for hosting this! The what amazed me on my flight home was that there was NO ONE on the FC upgrade list. (it was sold out anyway - I could not see it because of using miles for my return home so I asked.)

the name shows up well enough, so I was able to track it down ... Line #93 (of 100 production B-1B aircraft)
