Fire pit

may not be allowed this time. Severe drought and the McHugh fire has put a burn ban in place in ANC, o unless we get some rain soon, it is a no go

I just got word from BDNYC that work is keeping him grounded this week and he will not be coming, so the spare bedroom is open in case anyone needs a place to stay. Sadly, I do not have any points/awards to pass out.

Id be interested or even the couch if it fills up. I'm still not 100% sure since the GF had a different surgery and i don't know if she will be able to be left alone yet for 2 days I'd be gone (probably wont know until a day or 2 before). I'm on a saver outbound arriving around 7pm on Saturday. Just made my third change on the return. Now have a more optimal Sunday 7am ANC-SEA and an afternoon SEA-BOS (which my last 2 times on turned into a 3 hour arrival delays.) I did have to give up Saver F but that would have required a red-eye return and the boss wouldn't allow that with our backlog

Beer

Since there are so many different opinions on beer, I will leave it to the crowd to supply that. Each person has apreference and I can't guess what it would be.

Looking to do variations on pork with green
peppers and onions, I think good with PacNW reds.

We have a bottle of Tribute 11 as tribute as well.

I will be there, also with +1.

Will update when I'm back home next week re: menu items. Pondering a few possibilities.

Picked up some Potato Mac Salad at Costco in Kona this weekend along with some tasty Pineapple Salsa. Also have a rather largish sweet treat.

I was thinking of getting the fixings for a potato salad or if you have a mandolin even a scalloped potatoes dish.

I thought a mandolin was a musical instrument. Upon further investigation and the help of Google, it turns out I thought right. But there is such a thing as a mandoline, which appears to be a kitchen gadget. Who knew. Clearly cooking is not my thing

It was in a cooler (filled with other tasty things) on the way home [ie cold]. It still factory sealed with a sell by date of September 1. So I don't think there will be a problem.

The stuff from L&L however... not so good. Don't worry, I didn't try to bring it home

Put me down for a dessert and maybe a side of some sort, I will have to decide on what can travel with me in the car for a few hours
