Once in a blue moon, if that frequently, do I have business travel scheduled one month or less out. So of course I learn today I am going to NYC July 11-12

I'm meeting with the restaurant a week prior to the dinner. As the chef & I will go over a family style meal, it is likely that more will be able to attend but I won't know until I meet with the restaurant.

But in the event it doesn't, be on the lookout for other Chicago area Do's, it has been a bit slow lately but usually there is a dinner or event every 1.5 months.^ You of course would be more than welcome to attend.

I'm in Colombia and had an accident a few days ago, followed by emergency surgery for a broken leg. Sorry, but I won't be allowed to fly until after this dinner meeting, so I must cancel.
