FT Meetup for Keeneland and a home UK game? Consider me a maybe, just need to book a flight.

Have already scored the ultimate hotel redemption for the weekend. Spare bedroom at my fraternity brothers house for the small cost of a beer.

it appears as though my relocation to STL will not be happening by this point, and with a two week trip to NZ in late September and a week on the east coast in mid-November, plus having my house on the market, I don't think I can squeeze in another trip this year. sorry to all.

During the last LEX Horse & Bourbon DO earlier this year, I organized a Saturday Bourbon tasting/tour at Four Roses and Woodford Reserve for four of us.

Would there be any interest in doing something similar this time? If so, I'd probably look to organize a visit to a couple of different distilleries.

Carpooling is always a good idea. Not sure I can join, as I may be organizing the reception, shopping and whatnot.

Recommend you consider including Makers Mark this time. Beautiful operation, but a pretty long drive. Maybe a quick stop here also, home of Thomas Merton:

Through the Bardstown area is one way to route it, with several possible stops, including a tavern which allegedly has never closed since 1779:

I'd be interested in this, also Makers Mark sounds interesting.

Fantastic! I was hoping to include a stop at Makers Mark this visit, despite the distance.

Bumping in case anyone has missed this recently.

Avios redemptions may be opening up soon. They generally do at some point. LEX is pretty expensive on cash fares.

Have found AA/Avios availability to fly ORD-LEX but nothing on the return either Sunday or Monday.

Is anyone driving Sunday/Monday to an airport that might have AA service to ORD? Or back to Chicagoland? Would love a ride.

Still need a ride?

Could this be your lucky day? Returning to Columbus Sunday, or could drop you off at Cinci airport.
