DALLAS - Pecan Lodge BBQ - 3rd weekend in April 16/17
I'm heading to Dallas for our annual sales meeting that starts on Sunday evening April 17.
I'm not sure exactly when I'm arriving, (will be early Sat or Sun morning).
Just taking a pulse to see if there are some Flyertalkers who would like to join me for a BBQ lunch at Pecan Lodge in April, either Sat 16 or Sun 17.

A dinner is for sure on the table if I'm there for Sat night.
Being from Chicago, great steak is something I can get on a reg basis, so when I travel I try to dine at places that I can't get locally here. Texas BBQ is something I can't get here, Chicago does rib tips & some links that are fantastic but the rest is mostly meh. Hence me wanting to go to Pecan Lodge as I've heard good things about it.
Short story: not saying no, just would not be a focus.

If I'm in town that weekend I will be happy to meet up for BBQ at Pecan Lodge. Pecan Lodge is amazing and well worth a visit for any visitors to DFW.
Pecan Lodge holds its own against any of the more far-flung temples of smoked meat in places like Lockhart, Luling, and Taylor. Pecan Lodge is the real deal.

ok, this went from a Willie gets to enjoy Dallas for a weekend and now has turned into client dinner/drinks on Saturday and co-worker agenda for Sunday.
