Sounds great.

I'll be staying at the Grand Hyatt Berlin, which looks to be near several public transportation options.

My flights remain as posted.

This means I arrive at 19:55 on Friday evening. If there are Thursday or Friday activities I will miss out. I am likely to stay in Berlin AFTER the do for a few days, so I am happy to "self guide" the Thurs/Fri activities on Sun/Mon/Tue. Anyone else who misses out is welcome to join me.

Possible activity

A visit to the Reichstag would be interesting but I have been told it is closed to the public and that the only way to visit is to have lunch in the restaurant there. With this size group that is probably not possible.

One must apply and take an acceptance letter. Certainly not worthwhile for this gathering, but might be good for those staying either early or late. Been there, done that myself.

It is possible to visit but the logistics are not feasible for this group. To do so, I would need a full list of names and dates of birth well in advance and then to hope that the requested time slot came through.

I do strongly encourage participants to visit either before or after the Do. Details about how to visit the Reichstag are available at this link.

I have no idea the specifics of my arrival or departure in Berlin, but you can certainly move me to confirmed. I will be in there from at least the Thursday morning until the Monday, but I'll be in Germany for much of October as I have friends and family in Wurtzberg, Freising, and Gelnhausen that need to be visited before or after and they are still upset I didn't do so after NUE.

The tour options look great! Am very much looking forward to this!
