Cleveland Good Riddance to Smisek Do - September 30
We had a great, albeit blustery, time last night at the Azure Sun Lounge.
Kuddos to RNE for recommending it.
Thanks to Darlox for creating the invitation.
I've been to several FT DOs and this was one of the best.
By my count, we had 9 FTers present: RNE, TSMRSRNE, BobBell, The Holy Cobra, TAHKUCT, dergon darkhelm, Darlox, Surface Interval, and me.
(Apologies if I missed anyone.)
We also had a great turnout (at least 18 that I can recall) of current/former UA GAs, FAs, and pilots (aka ex-COns).
All of the Jailbird Jeff pictures (see next post) went home with these fine folks.

To close, we now say (in Elmer J. Fudd voice), Good Widdance to Bad Wubbish.

Don't have anything approaching a head-count yet, but this was sent out to a bunch of retired (and a few active) pilots and FAs in the area, and at least a few have already confirmed attendance. At this point, it looks like there will be enough people to at least raise a healthy toast...
