So, I'd like the attendees to start considering whether they would prefer a walking/eating tour of Ann Arbor or a kayak tour of the Huron River or a third option I'm not considering? Please post your thoughts.
With kayaks, you would get to go down the Cascades.

We're iffy this year because we're planning on collecting some (rail) mileage in ND that weekend.... I know I don't have it because I've never heard of the city we're going to.
Also prices for transportation to DTW may have changed since last year when I put together the writeup in message 2 --- and except for Feb, Michigan had a normal winter !
The popularity of this event is amazing, look how quickly it filled up !

Well, we have two votes now.
If nobody speaks up, I guarantee at least I will be happy with the decision.
