Grrrr fares from RDU-DTW have jumped significantly. I can fly into either CLE or FWA I guess but I'd rather not drive 220 miles round trip.

Hopefully fares will come down over the next couple of months.

If you don't mind a connection did you look into flying American to TOL connecting in ORD?

Trust me I'd have been happy to do that (and not just for the new airport!) but that's pricing out at $518 r/t

Park Inn is a Club Carlson property

Don't forget that the Park Inn in Downtown Toledo is a Club Carlson Property.

Suppose to be clear by early afternoon. Huron between Adams and Madison is also closed off with some huge tents in the street. I was told a new bar is opening up (not sure what that is all about, the only place for a bar there is the old Diva's and it isn't that big).

might be a bar for post game drinks ?

So it looks like the Hens dropped one & won one, saving the best for last.

I found out it's a martini bar. There is one in the burbs and they opened up one downtown. I wanted to check it out but there was a $10 cover to get in (which was absurd because it looked like there was no one in the tent and it isn't like it's next to the ballpark) so I passed.

The first playoff game for hockey team was also last night and we lost

toledo do

I'll be there. You might be better off staying at the hampton, courtyard or country inn and suites off 795 in Rossford. Right by the turnpike. 75 is screwed up from the 475 split to the maumee river in Toledo. If anyone is coming up from the Columbus area taking us 23 all the way up is probably going to be easier than taking 23 to 15 to 75. 75 is down to 2 lanes in each direction from the Perrysburg 475 split to Findlay which is about 50 miles of 50 mph speed limit due to construction. Very narrow lanes and lots of traffic accidents.

I found out Toledo gay pride is that weekend also. It will be at promenade park which is only a couple blocks from the ball park so parking may be a bigger pain Saturday
