Anyone interested in going to The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore Monday afternoon/evening?

If I understand correctly, you submit a request to stand in 4:30-5:00 line in hopes of being admitted for 6:00 taping. My friend tedward went a couple weeks ago, and though I didn't ask for specifics, I got the impression it was easy-peasyish to get in.

Discounted HOHO Bus Tours of NYC

Another fun event for visitors to NYC, in addition to the one above from boxo, is a hop-on hop-off bus tour.

A good Groupon-like deal can be found at https://local.amazon.com/brooklyn/B00SAADPEU with prices as low as $9 for the 2-hour night tour.

I took the night tour several years ago, and it was very different from a day-time tour...the driver seemed to be in a different mental state, and he had the passengers stamp their feet on the floor if they were enjoying the tour. I have no expectation that will happen again, but I went ahead and bought the "groupon."

UPDATE from Dan's Deals: Save $3.14 with code (Exp: 3/15) to bring the cost down to $5.86: 31415926

There's also the 9/11 Tribute Center (not the Memorial Museum) for 50% off: https://local.amazon.com/brooklyn/B00KLM578W

That's a good question. since I'm moving things around this year, I'm not really sure. I'd guestimate 6:00 (1800). Dinner will be at L&B Spumoni Gardens. http://www.spumonigardens.com/our-story

PM me for my cell. I'll update you with a more accurate time the day of the tour.

FYI repeat riders. I'd like to go to the promenade at sunset. Views of lower Manhattan from the Brooklyn side are spectacular at twilight.
