Remember, FREE BEER. Quick update on the homebrew front. The bourbon vanilla strong porter has fully fermented (6.8% ABV) and will be aging on medium toasted oak spirals over the next few weeks. The Zombie Dust American Pale Ale clone will be brewed this weekend so that the dry hopping process using Citra hops will be complete about 10 days before the event. Both will be available at the reception on Saturday evening starting around 5:00p. While it will be great to see old friends, we look forward to seeing new faces at this year's DO.

I assume Lyft/Uber is there, but not sure.
Surely someone not too inebriated could give a ride.

There will be two horse farms on Saturday morning. Most likely they will be the Glen Ridge where I keep my horses and also the famed Calumet, where I'm hoping we get to see a live cover. We should be done by noon with the horses.
On Friday morning, I'll most likely head up a group that heads to the track kitchen for breakfast (Keeneland) and we might as well watch the horses work while we're there.

Any opinions as to whether we should do Keeneland Friday or Saturday? Of course, we don't have to do everything together.
I am assuming Friday will be less crowded.
Sunday is also good for Keeneland, as folks can depart direct from there.

I'd prefer it not to be Sunday as I won't be around and if it's Friday, late enough that I can get there with an 11:30 AM arrival into SDF.

I'll be renting a small SUV, I'm happy to give rides if people are okay kicking in a buck or two for gas.

1. I will have room for 2 people in my car around town.
2. I found out Pies and Pints restaurant is in Lexington. I offer it as a suggestion for food & drink. They have a huge beer list and very good pizza.
3. We had lots of trouble finding the mare farm last year. I suggest a map be printed for any destinations off the beaten path.
4. If anyone is undecided about attending, do come. It is a unique experience.
