MILWAUKEE AREA LUNCH - Sun Nov 9, 2014

It has been awhile since there was a Do (meeting/get-together) in the Milwaukee area. The Bears & Packers are playing in the evening of Sun Nov 9, so how about a lunch at Sobelman's.

Sobelman's sounds better to me...

I'll commit with one exception. The NRSA gods actually allow me to fly to celebrate my Mother's birthday that weekend.

Put me down as a maybe. Long drive, but I know it will be worth it after the past two DOs. I think I'm going to visit E&J before my flight tomorrow.

will do, you & I could always drive together from the Chicago area. I've got some other stops to make that I think you'll enjoy.

Perhaps Chinese in West Allis?

or perhaps a burger at Sobelman's Pub & Grill?

Anyone may attend, just post to this thread. And if you have a favorite place for lunch, please make a suggestion.

Sounds good.

I think the burger route would be better, so expect lunch at Sobelman's.

I despise waiting for any restaurant, so I'm thinking an 11:30AM time to meet there would be a good time to go. (to those going, let me know if this works ok for all of you.)

I'll update the first post to reflect the above.

Due to there being a number of FTers who wanted to come to this lunch yet couldn't due to other obligations as well as a couple of FTers who confirmed yet can't make this Sunday, I'm canceling this Sundays lunch.

Seeing as there was enough interest, I'll plan something further out to give folks more chance to confirm.

Thanks,

willie

very good, I know there are other Milwaukee based FTers.

I can easily see a dinner or lunch happening this September after Labor Day.
