My trip home from Bob W's was a bit longer than beckoa's, but on the bright side I did get a sleep able seat and the crew was great on this flight, not making announcements after we left ANC until just before landing in SEA.

lili and I missed everyone except LIGrin - we were at the
teenagers' fiddle contest and then went and saw a bunch
of native dance performances. We had a good time despite
not finding the rest of you.

Just boarded my AS flight to SEA. It was oversold, but with 12~ not checked in, the chance of a VDB seems low.

Thanks to beckoa, Bob W & jackal for a great Alaska DO! Looking forward to hearing more about the plans for 2016

(Special thanks to the weather gods for letting us in/out of DUT without any major delays or cancellations! Looking forward to adding ANC-CBD to my flight map

Thanks to the Organizers. Verry happy you all found connections with the Visitor bureau. We may have recruited some new FT members. Also thanks to JohnSydney2000 for taking me on the 2 hour cruise you were invited to. Some amazing photos taken. I'm trying to go through the 1600 i took in those 2 hours alone. It was also cool being in Denali National Park the day Denali was given her origional name back. Hoping there will be anther Alaska DO next year. Out of all FT events I always enjoy the Alaska DO's more than any other.

So glad to be home, it was so nerveracking, last thing I wanted was to be stuck on the Island for a week. Oh and thanks to who it was that found the working wifi at the airport which helped me calm my nerves. So hard being disconnected. Others appreciated my ability to keep tabs on the flights when the complimentary wifi network failed.
