I wonder how many of beckoa's bags will be bumped off the flight

Hopefully, if anything is bumped, it's one of the excess bags, and not someone's personal bag with their own clothes or gear for the trip!

I actually got there at 1:30; IMO amazing, as my car almost didn't make it home last night...but took a risk this morning going slow, and made it.

Now for some yummah Asian inspired food at the Airport. I couldn't resist getting the Airport Chow Mein!

Looks like 5 for dinner tomorrow. In case of weather, Glacier Brewhouse will more than likely be our backup plan - I have secured a backup reservation there, and will post any updates both in the thread and in the wiki as the weather defines itself tomorrow.

We will, of course, take a "rain check" on dining at The Deck at Lake Hood, and reschedule for later in the weekend should weather be an issue

Since the question came up from those in DUT about how the weather is determined by KS at DUT (with it's very ... minimalist airport), the A/FD reports that DUT has an AWOS-III. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automa...eather_station

In short, the automated station can determine cloud bases as well as visibility, temperature, precipitation and wind conditions.
