Giselle received her gift! She got excited when the package was being opened, it was wrapped so well with a really cute cat card and note from Marino (and pbjag!) She is already loving the banana, I didn't want to overwhelm her with all the goodies at once. Thank you for organizing this!
Fortunately, he had just received his very own banana from his Santa Paws Zoe or I would never have been able to get this one into the box unscathed

Chubbs received her very generous gift from a Santa Claws today! She was very happy especially with the ping pong balls, which she's been smacking around our concrete floors. However, she is quite displeased with the nail trimmers (although her owners are really happy with them).

Marino was adopted from the local animal shelter exactly 6 years ago today. Needless to say, it was love at first sight. His sister (whom I also tried, unsuccessfully, to adopt) was all Siamese markings with no stripes.
Here is a picture that shows his handsome face and more of the striped markings:

She was so funny that day! I think she thought I was 'fussing' because I wanted her to sit in a certain spot (which was a little damp from the sprinkler) - so once she was settled, she refused to look at the camera. She was either a) not going to sit there or b) not look at the camera. She won.
