CHICAGO - Dongbei Cuisine Flyertalk Dinner (BYOB) - Sun Sept 21

ok, for those who haven't heard of Dongbei Cuisine, there is a description of it here in Wikipedia.

When I last went I had some DELICIOUS food such as dried beef stir fried w/LOTS of chilies, or dry stir fried lamb w/cumin, chili marinated cabbage, smoked pork roll which essentially was a scallion pancake w/smoked pork as a filling. If these dishes sound appealing to you, please come out and join me for dinner at Homestyle Taste.

Homestyle Taste is a BYOB (bring your own booze) place so if you like to keep your bar bill cheap, BYOB is a great way to do it.

Maybe it is, I'm just guessing some of the many beers you have would go great with this food, especially their dry stir fry beef, this stuff could be one of the best foods ever to go with beer.

So, as it happens I'm flying through Chicago on Sunday night. If I can SDC to a later connecting flight ~9pm, I might just be able to grab a car at ORD and come by for a bit.
