Had a pleasant flight on the way over on a delayed AA169 from LAX - who should I notice 2 seats across on the other other side of the same block of three seats but lili (who by now should have just arrived into FUK) - helped make the pleasant flight even pleasanter.
It was a circus at NRT immigration 5pm today ...
I am safely ensconced at the Narita Hilton; about to sleep in the first real bed I have had in the last 16K miles ... I'll see you all at dinner tomorrow evening (some even earlier perhaps at the Hilton lounge).
