On 2nd thoughts, if we are all in the dining room, perhaps we can get one very small plate among us so we can take a bite and see what it's like?

But, hmm... horse meat sashimi... I'm really not too sure about that...

That probably will not fly with work as I will be on-call in Korea.

It is, but I won't be canceling until I know for sure about work.

I would certainly be very interested in trying it. ^

(But if anybody is going to be dreadfully offended or uncomfortable, then that's okay. I can try some on my own during another meal. )

I'd be up for it - had a rare horse steak in Iceland, not much different. Rather tasty for those of you on the fence, but I'm not doing the ryokan add-in, so guess it won't be happening for me this trip.

It's a shame that the map ignores Okinawa...

That's a shame to hear!

Is it possible to assign these to another FTer?
It was quite easy to transfer to another FTer - GP# and all. The Ą11,500 Sunday night booking is still up for grabs.

I note the HR is now showing unavailable for Sunday 5th.

TYO pre DO?

Is anyone hanging out in TYO before the official DO? Beck & myself were planning a few days there with Monitor & frantic, who have had to pass on this trip. It would be fun to hang out with others and explore the city.

I'm still up for that! Will be arriving at NRT on March 30 and staying in the Chiyoda-ku area. Am also hoping on a group consensus on how to get from Tokyo to Hakata, I'll admit to being entirely lazy about planning anything with regards to this trip after booking my flights, and am totally prepared to follow the crowd.

One of the easiest and also the cheapest ways is to use the ANA Experience Japan Fare from HND to FUK for 10,800 yen (US $90). There is plenty of availability on April 2. The ticket books into Y if anyone is interested.
