All 3 of the listed dates now work for me, with the Sept/early Oct weekends probably less chance for becoming a problem down the line in terms of work commitments.

Love to come! We were there in 2012, and if you decide on the last weekend in October, we'll surely be there again.

We're out of town September 28 - October 22 so unfortunately, the 24th-26th is the only time that will work.

Terrific to know you two are on-the-go, Numbers 19 and 20.

=====================

I'm heading to OzFest in 9 days. My goal is to choose the DO date by then. Thanks, all, for your interest.

I've been in contact with the Operations Manager at Monterey Peninsula Airport regarding a group tour. He's reminded me the California International Airshow Salinas is the weekend of Sept 26-28, so a tour would not be possible then.

Is anyone interested in a day at the airshow, Saturday or Sunday? The US Air Force Thunderbirds are headlining this year. http://salinasairshow.com/

If September 26-28 is chosen, I would definitely be interested in watching an airshow that Saturday, but I will still be happy if the weekend of October 24-26 is chosen instead. (I will be at the LEX DO October 3-5.)

i would be interested in an airshow activity if that weekend is the one selected, but i still have a stronger preference for October 24-26. however, both weekends are still open for me.

Count us in! It was great fun in 2012. We have never been to the air show in Salinas, just the one at Moffett in Mountain View, now gone...

If we went in Oct for the Butterfly Parade, would the butterflies be in town? for the uninitiated, that is some sight to see. Bring binoculars.

Monterey Airport is a kick in the pants. Since we are right in the middle between Monterey and San Francisco, we have flown out of Monterey if there is a DEAL! Everyone but us knows everyone. It is all so buddy buddy. So small town.

So far, we are open for any of the dates. Thanks for putting this together.

Interested, although timing may be a challenge for me (with vacation days and award seats across the pacific, etc).

My apologies for not having set the date before leaving for OzFest. On my way home from MEL tomorrow. You can count on a firm date in a week's time. Thanks to all for your patience.
