January 17
Day trip to Indonesia. Bintan island will be where we will take the ferry to.
1:00 PM: lowjhg is setting up a lunch at Yum Cha at Wah Lok at Carlton Hotel. PM if you plan to attend.
8:30 PM: Dinner at Jumbo Seafood Dempsey Hill
January 18
10:00 AM: Alexandra Arch trail walk (about 5k total distance)
1:00 PM: Indian Lunch at Muthu's Curry on Racecource Road
8:00 PM: Dinner at Straits Kitchen
Post DO Portion
To begin, all activities will be out of Danang, so book a hotel there. I suggest the Hyatt Regency.
January 19
Fly to DaNang
Dinner location, but dinner will be around 8:00.
January 20
Tour on the Hai Van pass to Hue where we will then visit the Citadel. This is about an 8 hour excursion.
Return to Danang around 6:00 PM.
Dinner in Hue or Danang afterward.
January 21
Possible lunch for those still around.

I'd appreciate some Post Do air booking suggestions. Is it easiest to to book the post do air Singapore-DaNang and back on a local carrier then SIN back to the states or another routing? I'm UA if it matters. Thanks

I'm not familiar with the *A side of things, but can you book with DAD as your final destination, with a stop-over in SIN?

I would say this is something to worry about in August or so when Air Asia and Jetstar have their new routes listed. If you're trying for open jaw awards, I would suggest booking a flight leaving from BKK, DAD, SGN, HAN, or KUL for starters. Flights within Vietnam are $100 for DAD-SGN/HAN in C, so your easiest bet is probably to book from one of those cities for a return.
