I suggest you reserve right away if you think you might want a room at the 4Pts.

3000 SPG per Fri/Sat night (cancelable) vs. $169 (all-in) per night for a cancelable reservation. 5+ cents for a Starpoint!

There is a Fairfield down the street which KMA26 told me is sold out already.

I am interested. Not sure what my schedule looks like for April right now, but I'll guess an 80-85% chance I can manage a weekend.

This sounds like fun! I'm a maybe (with an even less sure +1) for now - unfortunately, I don't know what my schedule will look like this far in advance.

Rooms seem to still be available at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Lexington North, I think (it may be showing me rooms because I'm MR Plat. but I don't think the website does that by itself). However, for some reason, the rooms don't appear in broad searches. Instead, search the dates directly from the hotel's website here.

$119/nt. for 1 King.
$124/nt. for 2 Queens.
No AAA rate availability and no rewards bookings available though.

And, for those interested in "wak[ing] up on the bright side," the La Quinta Lexington (which also appears to be just down the street) has a AAA rate of $80.10/nt. for 2 full beds.

I didn't check the Knights Inn across the street.

I don't know anyone posting here, would my wife & I be welcome? I am only on FT 6 months. I've never attended any DO. We are both 37, and we generally aren't stick-in-the-muds and are known to enjoy our whiskey a little. This just sounds... Fun!

Of course, everyone is welcome! If you confirm, I'll put you on the list.

OF COURSE YOU ARE WELCOME!!!!!!

Toomany.... sdf on WN is ridiculous on those dates. Apparently WN is quitting the non-stop to stl so that makes all the flights 5+ hours and most 6 or 7 hours. Hell to the no. I tried to find something that went into sdf that made sense from dal but it was all bad.

I don't know that airline anymore. I don't like them. I'll use them but I don't hold the affinity I once did.

BTW, just had an Indra Kunindra (loved it) again and my very last Double Trouble.

Hopefully DT will be on tap when we get to lex. I love that town.

Hi all,

I'm tentatively planning on coming to my first Kentucky DO. Looking forward to great company, good food, and all the fun that can be had.

Booked at the Fairfield Inn today, seems to have a lot of availability right now. Props to the poster who checked it out.

Thanks for the encouragement to a horse loving noob.
