Sorry guys couldn't find the time this weekend, so I'm thinking I'll go next Saturday afternoon (Feb 6) ~1pm, assuming the weather cooperates this time. I'll make a reservation if there's enough interest.

Czech lunch part 2 at Koliba is still a go for today, though it's looking like 1:30 is more likely

In hopes of making progress again, I'll probably be dropping the alphabetical approach; it has become more of a hindrance than anything else.

There's a Scandinavian Food Hall opening soon in Grand Central Terminal - that's the plan for Denmark, perhaps followed by a visit to Třrst in Greenpoint. No date confirmed, but soon.

There's also Bourdain's new food hall to open later this year, we can go visit!

Denmark!
The 'Great Northern Food Hall' is now open in Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall. It's not any kind of formal establishment - just a few different counters - so I'm thinking I'll try to swing by there for a bit of Danish fare at some point this weekend.
EDIT: This is going to happen on Sunday. Time TBD but it will be on the later side of lunch.

Saturday 9/24 Burmese 8pm
Burmese dinner this Saturday night, September 24 at Cafe Mingala on the Upper East Side. By most accounts this is the only dedicated Burmese restaurant in the city.

Last and certainly not least, corkage is $5 for the first bottle and then free thereafter. As such, monitor has suggested that everyone bring a bottle of wine for the table - anything will do; I'll let those other dinners have their price minimums
Reservation for 8pm, and I owe them a final headcount tomorrow. Who's in?
