Well, how long are you in town? There is no set date for the Australia meal.

The Zorah Karasi shows up in Cellartracker.com:
http://www.wine-searcher.com/wine-29...i-noir-armenia

Wine-searcher.com has it available at a couple places - in NJ and NY (Amherst) but that's probably not close enough for pick-up. I don't have access to the Pro version so I don't know if there may be others.

The wine's website is here: http://www.zorahwines.com/wine/karasi/

This trip I'm in and out in a couple of days, usually get to NY every 3 months or so for a weekend.

What a fantastic idea. I've lived in NYC for several years now and I find myself going to the same places all the time.

Looks like you are looking into Australia soon. I'm sure others here might have better recs but I always enjoy a quick bite at Tuck Shop.

As an Aussie who has recently moved to NYC I can vouch for The Australian (http://www.theaustraliannyc.com/)

I am yet to visit the Tuck Shop but I should do it soon. I will definitely be there for the Australian event provided it isn't on either of the next two weekends which are chocker block already.

I'm certainly willing to schedule a meal around a native's availability. How would the evening of Sunday, October 20 work for you?

Applause! Love the idea. Enjoy everybody. (I'm doomed to SAN-EWR with an occasional ZFV this quarter.)

Sounds good mate, October 20th is currently entirely free. Name a time and I will lock it in.

Since it is a Sunday, let's say 7pm at The Australian.

Don't forget Austria - I'm expecting a crowd for that one.
