I am going to make an effort to attend
(and update here to save extra space). Since there are few research obligations in Chicago, I see if I can make it all work back to back and attend. Please put me for maybe at this time.
Either way, I will make sure to add a donation.
Thank you for organizing!

I booked the Renaissance Suites ORD also. For those of you who have Gold/Plat how does the free breakfast work? Do they give you 1-2 breakfast tickets per room?
If anyone has 2 and only needs 1, I will gladly accept your extra one (and give you some drink chits or lounge pass if you can use those).

No coupons. You sign it to the room, and it's taken off automatically.

Oh, in that case, if anyone would be so kind as to sign my breakfast to your room (if you have only a party of 1 and have a 2nd breakfast credit available), I will gladly give you the drink chits / lounge pass

Count me in as a definite - I'll be in town. Looking forward to it -- good company, and Shoeless Joe's is a good time. A big thanks to Denny for the email, and hope Dan will be able to make it as well!
pshuang won last year's drawing. He has committed up to a $1K match for donations received by noon CST on Sunday. He hopes that this encourages those attending the dinner as well as all FTers to start their giving. Remember, he will only match what is given up to $1K. If we only raise $200 by Sunday, that's what he will match. We've got a goal of $10K to raise to give out the ride, so would really like to take advantage of every dollar of his gift.
Just heard from American Airlines Capt John Lohmar. He owns the T-6 and will be my +1. John will be staying at the Rennisance so don't let him get lost on the way to Shoeless Joes'. His brother, Flyer Talk sign "Capt Dan" will be posting race footage from Capt John's racing career at the Reno Air Races. Capt John will answer all your questions on the T-6.
