CHICAGO - Movie Do "Chico & Rita" at Siskel Film Center - Monday Feb 27
So Mrs Sweet Willie is at a conference all this coming week, therefore I have lots of free time as my baby is gone.
A bud of mine and I are planning on having dinner in the north Loop at a cheap place (maybe Perry's Deli, Cardozo's Pub for a $5.95 Monday burger, or....?) Place will be determined by noon on Monday(tomorrow). Edited to add: more than likely we are grabbing some banh mi sandwiches, then drinking in Cardozo's Pub until movie time.
Then we are heading the Siskel Film Center (164 N State St) to see the 8pm showing of "Chico & Rita", an Oscar-nominated film. If you love the music of the Buena Vista Social Club (I do), it is said you'll love the music in this animated film. http://www.siskelfilmcenter.org/chico-rita

I suppose if you detest Cubano jazz and Dizzy-style bebop you may resist the picture. But even then, I doubt it.
