Would anyone be interested in trying to setup a midweek event for early/mid-April? Since the last few events have been in DC, I believe we said we'd look at somewhere metro-accessible in VA for our next gathering (perhaps in the Clarendon or Ballston area).
Any interest/availability for Thursday, April 9th or Thursday, April 16th?

We are in NoVA earlier than that, April 7, and would be up for that evening in Clarendon/Ballston or as far out west as anyone might like.

The 7th or the 9th are better than the 16th for me--I get home after a few days out of town the morning of the 16th, so dinner with my family will be a priority that evening.

monitor/DCA writer - Tuesday, April 7th would also work for me.
Any objections from everyone else?

7pm dinner reservations seemed to work well for past events. Anyone who arrives early can grab a drink at the bar ahead of dinner; I'll probably plan on arriving around 6:30pm.

I was thinking about the American Tap Room in Clarendon. It's very Metro accessible with a varied menu and happy hour. While a little more pedestrian than our last few venues, on the plus side they should be able to accommodate a larger gathering. Of course, I'm always open to other suggestions.

c'mon, you folks are KILLING me ... I can see some of ATR's outdoor patio seating from my office window ... we're going to be meeting our movers in Seattle that week! 16th might have been workable had this discussion popped up a week earlier, but I'm booked into IAD rather than DCA
