I'm wondering if you are a DC based entrepreneur. I'm interested in getting together in DC with other entrepreneurs here on Flyertalk.

Yet again we just barely miss each other.

I'll be in DXB May 8-21.

One of these days we'll sync up. Maybe overseas.

Here's an oddball idea.

Over on a.net, it was mentioned that Seaborne Airways flies IAD-HGR (service which may be suspended).

Its a whopping $50.00 round trip and they fly the run 5x daily.

How about a DC area field trip? Not sure what there is to do in HGR, but what the heck....Where else can you fly for $50.00?

I'm also available Wednesday the 14th and Friday the 16th. Who else is around then?

The 16th looks doable for me.

Ted's Bulletin has a new location at the Mosaic, if you will be staying in that area (and is, of course, on Capital Hill otherwise).

I need to be in town the morning of the 17th, so I may be able to make it on the 16th.

Talking to monitor last night, we're thinking the Crystal City location of Jaleo. As it's a Friday night, I'll see about getting a reservation. Accordingly, it would be helpful to have a count of likely attendees. If you can let me know by noon on Thursday the 15th, that would be great.

Haha! I almost went there tonight. Then I discovered the Water Park Cafe was open for the season, and since I'd heard great things about its shawarma but had not yet made it there when it was open, I decided to go for it. Very good and the best example of the thinner wrap-style shawarma (on laffa) I've had yet, although I prefer the thicker hollowed-out-pita-style exemplified by Max's Deli up in Wheaton.

Enjoy your dinner at Jaleo! Don't forget that next Saturday, the European embassies are having their open house. I visited several of the non-European embassies today and had a blast.
