Thanks! I do like our odds next year. And now we have an experience of shared adversity that we can all talk about... hopefully in the way Red Sox fans talked about October 2003 one year later.

I am traveling from tomorrow through the first week of December -- first business in California, then back for a night, then vacation in Hong Kong and Copenhagen. But for those who are around for the next few weeks -- Kimpton has posted a restaurant week like promo for many of their restaurants -=- 3 courses off the menu for $35. http://www.kimptonhotels.com/landing...onth_2012.aspx You need to make the reservation with the code KIT MENU. The Grille at Morrison House, Firefly, Urbana are all included. Think of me when you enjoy.

Howdy, I'm interested in gathering a few folks together for dinner Friday night 12/7, say 7:00pm. Since I'm staying at the Radisson (DCA) that night, something around Crystal City area would make the most sense for me. Reply here or PM if you're interested.

Jaleo it is, since that's the second recommendation I've gotten, perhaps not surprising given my suggestion of "near the Radisson" as a preference filter. Funny, I just walked past the Jaleo location in Bethesda earlier this evening.
lowimpact: I'll angling for a room upgrade a try, I've got "museum legs" from this week that would really appreciate a long super-hot soak.
gvdIAD: Although the other folks I've got coming have been told 7:00pm, I'll probably show up earlier, maybe 6:30pm. Look for a PM with my cell phone number for you to text me. I have reservations for 6 people for 7:00pm, but maybe we can hang in the bar until the table is ready, and you'll have the chance to meet others before you have to head out.

Sure -- menus seem to be here at least some of them -- http://www.ramw.org/restaurantweek/
701 looks good
West End bistro
Ping Pong dim sum
Sette Osteria
Lincoln -- made a reservation for 4 on 2/4 at 6:15 pm. Any larger requires a credit card deposit. Anyone interested?

I'm out of town beginning the 8th, but am happy to set up a reservation for early in the week, if there's sufficient interest. Suggestions would be appreciated. (I'll start a 2013 thread when I come up for air; life is a bit hectic at the moment.)

I can do Lincoln on 2/4. I am probably up for something else later during RW as well.
I can disrecommend Ping Pong Dim Sum. The regular prices are not so high as to make RW a deal and, frankly, the food is unimpressive to anybody who has ever been to, say, San Francisco.

I can also do Lincoln on Monday the 4th. Other than that, though, Tuesday dinner or lunch Wednesday or Thursday look to be the only times that also work for me.

I'm pretty sure I can't make Monday, but dinner Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday would work for me.
