Suspended login for Flyertalk

Under what conditions do you suspend someone's login.

Someone who has been communicating with me over upgrades suddenly has a suspended logon.

They have created a new logon and are back trying to get me to provide them with upgrades again.

I suspect this is someone doing it for profit and my being nice and giving a free upgrade is getting taken.

So why do you suspend a logon?

It didn't start that way, but was looking like that is how it would end up.

But I have bowed out. The first 2 people they asked me to add an upgrade to already had upgrades on the record. So it was wasting my time and was put me on alert that something fishy was going on. Then they ended up suspended and I wondered if it was somehow related.

Is it through Coupon Connection? All trades should go through Coupon Connection, in part because to access Coupon Connection, members must have at least 180 posts and must have been a member for at least 180 days.

I'd suggest that you send a PM to the senior mods and to the Community Director with this information.

yes it came through CC, but the person who contacted me via CC now has their logon suspended. I just wondered what conditions cause a suspension?

Generally it comes from violating the rules of the community.

And signing back up with a new account to get around the suspension is a pretty good way to see the original suspension extended.

Thanks I was looking for the link to the rules and I did not find it.

The suspension of the account certainly added to my concerns from this person.

Who do I inform regarding the new identify of the suspended person?

+1

Nothing wrong with a discreet PM to make these sorts of inquiries.

You should contact the mods of coupon connection and/or the senior mods.

Good advice from Mary2e.

With that, we'll close this thread.
