Felt like a treasure hunt finding Honkytonks but finally got there.
Dinner was enjoyable and good to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.

Well a magnificent dinner, thanks to the organisers. (I know I'm listed but I attended the first planning meeting, provided some advice on my previous organising experience and made some suggestions.) *A Flyer and SQ421 have done a fantastic job as demonstrated by tonight's dinner.
I have now been hit by exhaustion and had top go home to sleep.

My thanks to SQ421 for being so nice as to meet me and the Serftys yesterday at the CBR airport and bring us to the hotel.

After the horrendous weather that greeted the OzFest yesterday (yet failed to dampen any FT spirits whatsoever), today is looking like a much better day. Should be a great day out, crisp and sunny. And if the showers do arrive, they probably won't be as bad as yesterday.
Was great to see a lot of people who, thus far, just handles on a bulletin board (albeit each with their own quirky ways of posting!).
JohnSydney2000 - Thanks for the after dinner social. And the introductions around the room.
penegal - was great chatting to you in the CP lobby, waiting for (and then getting in and booted out of) a cab at Crowne Plaza. Wonder if ntddevsys got to use the DYKWIA line while checking in at stupid-O-clock.
eightblack you chicken..... who calls it a night that early? I hope you (and your liver) got a good night's rest.... and are primed and ready for the day's festivities, and the evening's shenanigans.

For those on the Sheep Station Tour, we will be picking up from the Hyatt at 9:30am, the Novotel at 9:45am and the Crowne Plaza at 10:00am.
