With regards to registration for the HGP promotions, there seems to have been some breakdown in communications between me sending the list of everyone who has agreed to the t+c to the hotel, the hotel sending the list of gold passport numbers to Hyatt and HGP registering people for the promotion.
I have confirmation that HGP have the list of numbers and are registering people for the correct promotions asap. It may take a few days but they are trying to expedite this.
If you have nights booked before the registration appears to have taken place, these nights will count for the diamond trial and the bonus points offer.
If you are not currently diamond, but have a stay booked within the next week and were expecting diamond benefits, PM me and I'll see if I can get a confirmation email to you (can't guarantee anything).
Sorry for these unforeseen problems - this is a learning process for me. Next time, I'll cut out the middle man!

Hi I am currently at a Hyatt and I am concerned that my Hyatt status has not changed. I have another stay next week at a FS. Can you give an update on the situation?

I was told it should take 5-7 working days but they would try to expedite this. I will ask HGP for an update. If you want to PM me your reservation details I'll get HGP to contact hotel to advise them of your status before your next stay, although I expect status to be updated by Thursday.

I have had confirmation from HGP that everyone's account has now been registered for the promotions, so you should show diamond status (if you were not previously diamond) or 2 extra suite upgrade certificates (if you were already diamond).
I know the delay has been a little frustrating for some of you but I have some good news: although the diamond challenge (18 nights in 90 days) will run until October 28th (i.e 18 nights before this date), your diamond status will run until Feb 28th 2013 (or 2014 if you get the 18 nights) - a bonus 4 months of diamond status.
Let me know if your account doesn't show as expected.

Additionally, I would like to ask if there is anymore space left for dinner at the 4030.
Thank you.
Currently, there isn't space for dinner at 4030 but I have added you to the waitlist.
AMEX are planning an event tbc for the Friday night so there will be something else on - I don't think we can really go above 18 people for 4030 but you may get someone to swap if they prefer the sponsored AMEX activity to dinner (at cost).

American Express are holding a focus group on Friday morning, 9am-11am (ish), before we depart to Virgin Atlantic. This is a chance to put your ideas across for the ideal credit card and possibly influence future changes to the Gold and Platinum card benefits.
If you are interested in attending, please let me know. Otherwise, I will start to pick on people
I would like once again to thank AMEX for their generosity in sponsoring not only the gala dinner on Saturday, but also an activity on Friday night (tbc). It is also thanks to the AMEX platinum card concierge that we have a few tables at 4030 booked.
Although the do is still some way off I have posted menu choices online here - fill in the form once for each attendee. I need numbers for each dish by the 10th October. If you do not give your choice, I will order randomly for you. Please register your choice even if you are on the waitlist for this event, in case we have cancellations nearer the time. Wine and water is included in the meal, but if anyone wants Dom or a soft drink, you will have to charge it to your room.
Please note, some registration forms have changed, but if you have already submitted the form you do not need to do so again.

Thank you, for the information.
I am excited that something is planned for Friday too.
I don't hold an Amex card (non-bank related), so not sure if I would help much for the focus group.
But if you would like to add me in, I don't mind, Since I will probably be up at 5 am (jet lag)

As far as I am aware, the focus group is more of a hypothetical 'what would you want in a perfect credit/charge card,' than 'what do you think of Amex cards.'
Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to take part so far and for those who have already made menu choices.

I am interested in the focus group if you still need people. Don and I also submitted our menu forms. Thanks for all you are doing! Mary Anne

Another reminder that I need your menu choices soon - here. If you are coming +1 I need names of both people.
You can also let me know your travel plans to see if anyone is on the same flight as you or wants to share a taxi from LHR for example - here
Also, that I need people for the focus group. AMEX are offering an evening activity (for 32 people), so people who participate in the focus group will have priority access to this.
Lastly (for now) I have organised a tour of the Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields for Saturday afternoon (2:15-3:15). This is the charity that we will be supporting with the prize draw, so it's a great opportunity to find out how your donations will help. Please let me know if you wish to come so we have a better idea of numbers.

The Churchill is currently having to change all rates to include VAT (now a legal requirement) but have to do this manually. Your rate will still be £230+VAT (=£276) or 245+ (£294). If this shows incorrectly, email the Churchill and they will sort it out. I would like to pass on the Churchill's apology for this.
