Please Send Me to Antarctica: Part II
Here we go again!
Hello, fellow FlyerTalk members —
Please assist me in realizing a dream of mine: to visit Antarctica, the only continent which I have not yet visited. I now have a chance to do just that, and it would take little effort on your part:

The winner of this competition gets to travel to Antarctica and write a weblog chronicling the experience. I also intend to take plenty of photographs and perhaps even some video footage.
Here are the rules to the weblog competition. The end date for Competition entries is noon on August 31, 2010, Eastern Daylight Time. Travel dates are from October 13 to October 26, 2010.
As of now, the leading entry has 163 votes, while my entry is in 35th place with 3 votes, although at this time the place order seems to be by views rather than by votes for some reason. With the power of FlyerTalk, my entry has the potential to easily surpass that and then some...
The rules are somewhat different this year: the five entries with the most votes will be reviewed by a panel which will choose the winning entry. Still, each entry needs enough votes to reach that point. Last year, my entry finished in ninth place with 723 votes. I am confident that with the power of FlyerTalk, that total can easily be surpassed.
Suggestions on how to improve my weblog entry are always welcome once I have completed authoring it.

Thank you to all who have voted so far. I currently have 8 votes, but nowhere near the lead entry with 185 votes.
What I do not understand is how I had 22 views yesterday but only 20 views today...

My entry is up to 20 votes and 54 views, but that is nowhere near the leading entry with 543 votes and 1,419 views.
The number of views do not count towards winning this competition, but the number of views is the order in which the entries are viewed for some reason. Regardless, it is the number of votes that count.
