Yes it is due to seating capacity rather than hotel rooms. We have an over flow hotel with confirmed inter hotel bus service through out the day for attendees. Also attendance at the cocktail party is limited to hotel residents who are attendees, those staying at home or other non official hotels cant attend. Strongly suggest staying at conference hotel at least on Saturday night.

Don't forget the ORD shuttle service and meeting your fellow FTers. So you want to stay at conference hotel for at least Friday & Saturday night.

Talking

Just booked my flights for the DO and I cant WAIT! I figured since I will have to take Friday off from work, I might as well earn some miles from the whole thing. Booked on the following.

US 3315 (Operated by Republic Airways) E175 leaves PVD @ 5:50am arrives PHL @ 7:05am
US 1267 E190 leaves PHL @ 7:40am arriving DFW @ 10:11 am
US 714 A319 leaves DFW @ 12:48 pm arriving PHL @ 5:15pm
US 759 A320 leaves PHL @ 5:55pm arriving ORD @ 7:28pm

Looking to take a shuttle to the event hotel between 7:45pm and 8:15pm if there is anyone making a list of when people are arriving to plan shuttle service.

On the return it's a direct UA 830 A319 leaving ORD at 7:30pm arriving PVD @ 10:40pm.

I am looking forward to attending all the different sessons and also meeting and chatting with fellow FT'ers.

I would also like to thank all of you who have put your time and talents into planning and organising this great DO event.

We just booked a very boring DCA-ORD but we're trying not to take any time off of work. UA631 on the way up, UA626 to come home. Any other FT'ers on this flight, please say hi

UA's still $360-$405 for SJC/SFO to ORD/MKE. Not cool.

You've got a shot at clearing as PLT if you request upgrades. I've had shockingly good luck clearing as PLT, but I may be flying at the right times and on the right flights. Granted, flying to DC on a Sunday evening may be tricky as Congress and its associated following are usually heading back to town then.

We are Back to Work on the Event Later this Week

Win is back from vacation and I get home on the 22nd. We will be kicking things up again with a Door Prize for those with correct registrations. (Please double check your info and seminar schedule for conflicting seminars)

We still need two sponsors if anyone has suggestions send me a PM.

Sweet Willie is still looking for your social events requests and questions. I'd love to take over the Benihana in Schaumburg 15 minutes away

We will be looking for a few volunteers to help with on site registration issues, traffic control and who knows what else. Can you give us and hour or two?

And Door Prizes are always welcome. Travel related items are best. We've had CR1's donated as an example.

You can mail your Door Prizes to:

"Edwin Schaeffer, PO Box 335, Floosmoor, IL 60422

Send a PM with your comments and suggestions

Thanks

Ingy and Win
