I'll be through the area.
Had a wonderful meal awhile back with another FT'er at http://www.cowboyciao.com/
For both cities, I am up for any cuisine (just no Italian or Steakhouses)
Who's up for dinner &/or drinks?

Sadly, I was relocated from Phoenix last week. However, I'm going to bump this as Phoenix Dos are rare and Sweet Willie is a big FT name whose thread is deserving of page one.

I'll be there during those days. I will be off for week due to D-Backs regular season is back. Because D-Backs will be away for week. So I will expect to be there. I will try to have ask obscure2k, canarsie, RSSrsvp, Spiff or Randy Petersen will have more opportunity to be ours invitations at dinners in PHX. I will let you know by the situations is going on during those days.

Thanks for the kind words CMK10
I know this is far out but have my airfare already purchased.
So I'm glad some FT folks are looking to get together.^
As stated I'm up for any cuisine except Italian & steakhouses, would like to get some cusine with southwest attitude.

If it turns out that we can't find Tucsonans who looking to get together, then I can easily drive up I-10 on Friday night for dinner in Phoenix.
Regarding Tucson restaurants, here are some initial options that come to mind. Even if there is not a Tucson DO, you should be able to find a good meal at any of these plces:
J Bar -- The more casual option from James Beard award-winning chef, Janos Wilder.
Cafe Poca Cosa -- A well-regarded Mexican restaurant, which has received a lot of favorable attention from a variety of magazines and newspapers.
El Charro Cafe -- A more classic style Sonoran Mexican food menu option. They too have received a fair amount of positive publicity.
Rosa's Mexican Food -- A local favorite for Mexican food. They do not spend a lot on advertising (or a website, apparently), but they've always been a popular choice among locals
Micha's -- In South Tucson, there are several outstanding options for Sonoran Mexican food. This is one of my favorites, but there are more.
