I have lurked without joining for quite a while and decided to make membership official with the start of the New Year.
As chief analyst at a research firm (Basex), I (like most people here) do travel quite a bit. Based in New York, I travel frequently to Austria and Germany (and the U.K.) as well as to California. I am happy to share my experiences as well as to learn from everyone else's.
I like to drive a lot during my travels quite a bit and have taken advantage of BMW's European Delivery tourist delivery program multiple times (most recently last week).
In addition to my full-time job at Basex, I have been a regular contributor to several travel and automotive magazines over the past decade.

You should. It's a great program and, with the opening of the new BMW Welt (I was the first customer to take delivery there back in October 2007 right after the opening), BMW has raised the bar for tourist delivery.
